Some time ago in Itaca, a little island in the Mediterranean, a good weaver, called Penelope, was waiting
for her husband Ulisse, and weaving some clothes.
Ulisse was a Travel-Agent always travelling among the Greek Islands and Penelope at a certain time said to herself:
"That's enough!" because a rumour had spread that Ulisse amused himself with that "witch" of Circe.
So Penelope announced her divorce on the "Itaca News", and her intention to get married again. As soon as the
rumour began to spread a lot of people introduced themselves to her.
Ulisse heard the news too, but he was enjoying himself so much with a little mermaid that he had no intention of
returning home.
A lot of people came, but Penelope was not to make up her mind so she organized games and competitions, and at
last the best was elected, a postman greatly appreciated, from Creta.
He was just the right man for her, a very good fellow; a man who stayed near her and not a Travel Agent who
was always travelling, and amusing himself with a mermaid or a witch.
